Ricketts Glen

A trip to Pennsylvania to see some fall color last weekend. The elevation was 2500 feet and it is a little north of Columbus so it was a really lucky bit of timing. Sunny and 50 degrees. The water is blue because it was in the shade. Which is better, silky long exposure water or water that is clearer with less silkyness. This was a 1 second exposure at f18 because it was too bright to do longer exposures and if I did the leaves would be too blurry. Ricketts Glen is A state park about 7 hours east of Columbus with 21 named waterfalls within a 4.2 mile hiking distance. I highly recommend it for everyone.
